‘PLANAR MOVES’ - FARM HOUSE, NEW DELHI
In association with Grigoria Ikonomou
Completed : 2014; 20,000 sq.ft.

The design was based on 3 perpendicular walls forming the axii of the house and regulating the public, private and semi private space divide. The geometry was simple and minimal, an interplay of planes and volumes to form a structure that does not conflict with the vast landscape around it.

Since the farm house was built on an existing building site, the landscape and driveways were limiting and needed to be responded to. The resulting location and orientation of the building was guided tremendously by the existing landscape and structures at the site.
