This office was designed for a startup or a group of startups. At the conceptualisation stage of the project the nature of the business of the startup was not revealed to the designers. However, they were asked to make a contemporary and young office that could switch between multiple businesses.

The design that was conceived was hence of transparency and flexibility where the spaces while being physically well defined were visually connected and non hierarchical.

The office was divided into public interaction zones to the left of the reception comprising of meeting areas and a semi private open office space on the right. At the far end were the two private cabins for the MD and ED of the office. A silent zone with 4 workstations was provided for more concentrated work environment different from a typical open office.

The material palette was to create a minimal look of greys and wood. A feature concrete wall runs through all the spaces of the office and provides for a connecting element through all the spaces. The ceiling of the open office is open but highlighted by suspended elements like the lighting. A suspended metallic mesh highlights the movement zone of the office.
