DRISHTI PLATINUM, NEW DELHI

Completed : 2011; 450 sq.ft.

This is the first optical project that Forum designed. The design was conceived as a combination of space and graphic design where a trellis of alphabets was created. The trellis formed vertical elements as well as a ceiling elements with the brands being featured in the store popping out as red letters from the jumble of letters in the trellis. It was also an experiment in developing various display methods for sunglasses.

The challenge was to come up with display systems different from the existing ss rods prevalent in optical showrooms. Various different display systems were designed, inverted C shaped displays, niches with backlighting and highlight rods being some. The colour pallette was white with black and  just a hint of red highlights.
